Bud Phipps 1938-2014
Bud's Tree Service began serving the greater Sacramento area in 1968. The company was launched by Bud Phipps after he left the logging industry in the Pacific Northwest. Bud began with a pick-up truck and a chainsaw.
Stacy, one of Bud's sons, worked in the tree care industry for many years and founded Tri-County Tree Service in 1998. Bud retired in 1999 passing the business to Stacy. The two companies were merged to form Bud's Tri-County Tree Services, Inc.
